The first place winners received prizes of up to 300,000 pesos.

In an atmosphere of jubilation, the young entrepreneurs received their awards.

First place went to EnFila, a mobile app that allows you to schedule appointments at retail establishments from your cell phone. Second place went to Ozeano Swimwear, a brand of swimwear made from recycled plastic bottles. Third place went to Labydo, a virtual reality app focused on developing applications for the education sector.

Other creative projects were also recognized.

The seventh Entrepreneurs Fair took place on November 12 and 13 at the Downtown Center plaza, where talented young people presented innovative proposals in areas such as robotics, technology,

In addition, various talks and lectures were given at the event by representatives of government institutions and young entrepreneurs who have successfully consolidated their projects, motivating students and other attendees to achieve their dreams of completing a project and securing financial support.

The top three winners also received an hour of consulting with businessman Pepín Corripio.

Social Impact
These entrepreneurs initially decided to allocate a percentage of their sales to the Reef Check RD Foundation, dedicated to the preservation of marine ecosystems. But they needed to go further. This is how this company was established as an eco-friendly brand to reduce its footprint and environmental impact, using one of the oceans' greatest enemies as a raw material: plastic bottles.

The Hardest Part
"Uncertainty." As Shaina, a hotel management major, admits, she had no experience in the textile industry. But putting aside her fears and spending a full year researching the sector, she decided to invest her only savings, RD$100,000, in a dream she wasn't sure would come true. The significant growth they've experienced during this time speaks for itself. And their participation in last year's ASONAHORES Fair was a turning point in this journey.

Challenge
In this second stage, their biggest challenge is keeping up with the pace they're achieving, seeking the "economic boost" they need to reach the next level in this vast ocean of opportunities.
